Not into bodybuilding as much as I was from 2005-2015, but Phil truly is the GOAT. There is something to be said about Kai in 2012-13 tho. He was in amazing shape those couple of years. This docu was done really well.

imo one of the biggest factors is derek's size... if the judges insist on staying ON THE LINE then he will have a hard time matching up in size to a lot of the other guys. without scale, derek's physique is perfect proportionally tho.. one of the best we've seen

I met Heath a couple of times in San Diego and also Hawaii. San Diego he was bearable. In Hawaii he outright stupid shit. Heath I guess expected to win the Olympia more than the last guy following a trend. It was as if he a well endorsed professional could not find something else which paid a lot more with a lot less money paid out to achieve. Drugs,Supplements,Medical monitoring etc etc. Most break even after costs is my point even with product endorsements. Kai Greene was/is quite a bodybuilding personality. Heath should have recognized this and used his creativity to build him up rather than his actual attitude towards Kai which was nasty assed. Heath obviously had an edge somewhere within the Olympia organization not over Kai Greene. Politics is a MOFO. The Olympia has been in decline since the 1981 fiasco. Both Weiders are now dead and the Weider influence over. The Olympia survives IMHO due to its spot as the Golden era.
